Description

Seekh kebab is a South Asian kebab grilled with spicy diced or ground meat, typically lamb, beef, or chicken, fashioned into cylinders on skewers and submerged in a curry. It’s usually prepared on a mangal or BBQ grill, or in a tandoor oven. Seekh kebabs are supple and meaty, seasoned with ginger, garlic, green chili pepper, powdered chili, garam masala, lemon juice, cilantro, and mint leaves.  Extra fats can sometimes be added to enhance the flavor and aroma. Seekh kebabs are traditionally eaten with raita, salad, onion slices, lemon wedges, or green chutney, and naan bread or parathas.
